Do I need to apply this to wet hair and skin, or can they be dry?
Both are equally effective. Some people love to apply directly after showering and drying off, others prefer to apply to their hair when wet. The choice is yours!
Is it safe for sensitive areas, for example around the eyes?
You always want to be careful around sensitive areas, especially the eyes. Because our castor oil is pure, unrefined and hexane free, you can safely use it around the eyes. Make certain to avoid direct contact with the eyes.
What is the different between organic, cold-pressed castor oil, and common castor oil?
Unlike pure, third-party certified castor oil, regular castor oil is often treated through the use of hexanes and other chemicals. Furthermore, the nutrient profile is damaged during the processing of regular castor oil. Cold-pressed castor oil retains all of the benefits that you are looking for from the castor bean.
How do I use this with my DMSO?
Using a separate container, add a small amount of Castor Oil and DMSO; castor oil goes a long way, and the amount of DMSO you add is dependant on where you are applying it on the body. Remember: DMSO is very potent and often times only a few drops are required.
